Steven R. Renard, President, C.E.O.
Steven R. Renard has 16 years of healthcare experience in areas of site development, operations, management, acquisition, due diligence, seller packaging and finance. Prior to founding DRS, Renard helped to found and was president and chief operating officer at Liberty Pacific Medical Imaging and a regional vice president at Comprehensive Medical Imaging, a subsidiary of Cardinal Health, Inc. (NYSE: CAH), delivering a 30 percent net operating profit while increasing gross revenue by $24 million. Renard holds a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in organizational management. He is a member of Radiology Business Managers Association (RBMA), the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA). He serves on the Toshiba America Medical Systems speaker’s panel and on the General Electric’s “Blue Print for Success” advisory panel. In 2007, Renard was awarded as one of the Top 25 Innovators in Radiology, was a finalist for Best Turnaround Executive by the American Business Association, and was recognized as a "notable" in RT Image Magazine's 2007 25 Most Influential issue. Renard is a monthly columnist to DI Scan, as well as a regular contributor to key trade publications such as RT Image Magazine, Advance Magazine for Imaging and Oncology, Diagnostic Imaging Magazine and Outpatient Care Technology. He is also a member of the American Academy of Medical Administrators.
Janelle Deplitch, Vice President, Member
Janelle Deplitch brings 20 years of healthcare administration, management and compliance experience and is responsible for acquisition due diligence, assessing operational performance, compliance, policies and procedures and billing. Previously as a consultant for Frazier Healthcare Ventures, Deplitch was responsible for due diligence for potential multiple center acquisitions. Prior, Deplitch was vice president of operations at Liberty Pacific Medical Imaging and a regional business office manager with Comprehensive Medical Imaging (CMI) responsible for maximizing reimbursements for 12 imaging centers by developing and implementing best practices to optimize billing and clean claims submissions. Deplitch also served as a regional administrative manager with NovaCare Outpatient Rehabilitation Services. Deplitch is a member of the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) and the Radiology Business Managers Association (RBMA).
Renee Kavon, Vice President, Member
Renee Kavon brings 20 years experience in payer contract negotiation, reimbursement impact analysis, feasibility studies, marketing program/strategy development and due diligence for multi-center imaging acquisitions. Before DRS, Kavon was a consultant for Frazier Healthcare Ventures where she conducted payer trend and reimbursement impact analyses and due diligence for medical imaging acquisitions. Kavon’s prior experience includes having been a vice president of marketing and payer contracting at Liberty Pacific Medical Imaging, a regional manager at Comprehensive Medical Imaging (CMI), a subsidiary of Cardinal Health and a regional manager in 14 states at NovaCare, Inc., a leading national contract rehabilitation enterprise where she also served two terms as chapter president of the Associate Council of the California Association of Health Facilities (CAHF). Kavon attended the University of Wisconsin’s Master of Arts program in Mass Communications, where she also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with two majors, in Economics and Communications. Kavon is an associate member of the California Association of Health Plans (CAHP), the Association of Workers’ Compensation Professionals (AWCP) and the Radiology Business Managers Association (RBMA).
Anthony Draye, Vice President for Information Technology
Anthony Draye brings nine years of healthcare technology leadership to DRS. As a former consultant for Frazier Healthcare Ventures, Draye has performed due diligence research and analysis for potential multi-facility outpatient imaging center acquisitions. As Chief Information Officer of Liberty Pacific Medical Imaging (LPMI), Draye oversaw the company’s RIS/PACs technology platform. Draye’s prior experience includes having been a research and development software engineer for The Boeing Company in Seattle, WA and a software engineer at Helicon Networks, Inc. Draye earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Washington and has studied computer science and software architecture and design at the Stanford Center for Professional Development. Draye is a member of the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine, and has contributed articles to Diagnostic Imaging Magazine.
Javeed Siddiqui, MD, MPH - DRS Advisory Board Chairperson
Javeed Siddiqui, MD, MPH is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine, Division of Infectious and Immunologic Diseases, Department of Internal Medicine and serves as the Associate Medical Director at the Center for Health and Technology, School of Medicine, University of California, Davis. Dr. Siddiqui earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Dr. Siddiqui’s internship and residency in internal medical were both completed at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, Santa Barbara, California. He completed his infectious disease fellowship at the University of California, Davis Sacramento, California. Dr. Siddiqui is board certified in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine. Dr. Siddiqui’s clinical practice includes treatment of HIV/AIDS, general in-patient infectious diseases and telemedicine. He currently conducts both HIV and general ID telemedicine clinics. In his capacity as Associate Medical Director for the Center for Health and Technology, Dr. Siddiqui also serves as medical director for the telemedicine clinics.
Kay Yan, MD - DRS Advisory Board Member
Kay Yan, M.D. is a partner and associate medical director for Liberty Pacific Medical Imaging Long Beach. She is co-founder and vice president of Vista Radiology Medical Associates and a board certified radiologist specializing in breast MRI, CT and ultrasound. Dr. Yan graduated from Johns Hopkins University in bioengineering and completed a medical degree at George Washington University. She served internships in internal medicine and general surgery at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC and a four-year residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of California Irvine where she received the Mallinckrodt Award as outstanding resident. Dr. Yan was a clinical and research fellow at Long Beach Memorial Magnetic Resonance Imaging Center and Memorial Magnetic Resonance Educational Institute with William Bradley, M.D., DABR, FARC. She has lectured on orthopedic applications of MRI and authored publications in orthopedic and neurological MRI.
Dr. Yan’s radiology career includes having been a partner in Valley Advanced Imaging Medical Group and medical director of Encino Diagnostic Center. She has been a reading radiologist for Insight Health Services at San Fernando Valley MRI, Encino Open MRI, Valley Open MRI, Valencia MRI, as well as the Southern California Orthopedic Institute, Sierra Pacific Orthopedic Consultants, Orthopedic Specialty Institute, MEMRAD Medical Group at Los Alamitos Medical Center, Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, Little Company of Mary Hospital, Del Amo Diagnostic Center and Newport Diagnostic Center. She has also served as radiology consultant at Long Beach Memorial Breast Center and the Breast Cancer Radiation Treatment Planning Committee.
